This cnc Pipe Threading Lathe is a special CNC lathe specially used for processing the threads of oil pipes and casings at both ends. It is suitable for processing the threads of thickened and non-thickened pipes with outer diameters of 23/8"-7" and lengths of 6-12.5 m. The thread types include round, trapezoidal and special.
This cnc Pipe Threading Lathe is equipped with two tool holders and adopts multi-tool forming technology. A servo tool holder and a fixed tool holder are respectively set on the upper and lower sides of the saddle. At the same time, it can complete the rough and fine turning of the cone and thread of the pipe end, as well as the turning of the inner and outer chamfers and flat end faces of the pipe end. It has extremely high productivity and is particularly suitable for mass production by steel pipe processing companies.
In order to enhance the rigidity and stability of the pipe during processing and ensure that the processing accuracy meets the specified requirements, this machine tool adopts a three-point clamping layout for the processed pipe. The expansion head installed on the main shaft of the expander enters the hole end of the processed pipe for internal centering clamping, and the front and rear chucks installed at both ends of the main shaft of the bed head clamp the processed pipe externally. In order to improve the transmission accuracy and stability of the feed system and eliminate the gap of the mechanical movement, this machine tool is equipped with a high-precision ball screw and linear guide. The series of measures adopted by this machine tool will effectively make the thread accuracy of the processed pipe stably meet the requirements of the API standard.
